Balloons balloon The first time that a man flew away, it did it with a Montgolfiere! It was in 1783 and, during one century, was the only way of flying. The first airships manufactured out of paper and were heated with a fire of straw. Fortunately technology evolved: now, the envelope is manufactured out of polyester fabric bent on a structure of straps. A special burner, fed with propane, replaces the fire of straw. The bottom of the envelope in nomex does not fear fire. Accoudés on the thick leather edge of an enormous cane basket, we let ourselves transport to the liking of the wind to admire the majestic spectacle of nature. It is undoubtedly the most poetic way to fly! |
